Deconstruction

केतारी (ईंख — वैसे हमारे यहाँ ऊंख कहते हैं), ठेकुँआ, घाट, नए कपड़े, रात को लूडो खेल-खेलकर जागना, घाट पर पटाखें फोड़ना, नानी का दुलार वैगेरह वैगेरह. बालमन छठ को भी कई तरीकों से याद रखता है। लोकपर्व में अपने हिस्से की आस्था तलाशता है. आज भी याद आता है स्कूल से हॉफ डे लेकर पापा के साथ गया-डेहरी पैसेंजर से सासाराम पहुँचता था, खरना के दिन. माँ चित्रगुप्त पूजा के अगले दिन ही छठ के लिए नानीघर चली जाया करती. माँ और नानी छठ करतीं थीं. माँ चेहरा देख लेती तो उसे लगता जैसे उसके छठ का प्रायोजन पूरा हो गया. खरना का प्रसाद खाते, नानी अपने नाती को दो केला एक्सट्रा ज़्यादा देती, नानी और माँ दोनों के पैर दबाते, पैर दबाते हुए अच्छे से पढ़ने की नसीहतें दी जातीं हमें.  अगले दिन के उत्साह का कारण होता नहर पर जाना. बच्चे दोपहर के खाने के बाद से ही पूछने लग जाते कि पापा कितने बजे चलेंगे नदी पर, बहुत देर हो रहा है — हमारे लिए मेला हुआ करता. हमारा नहर कुराइच था. किस नदी से काटकर वह नहर बना था, इसकी न मुझे आज जानकारी हुई, न जानने की कभी कोशिश की.. क्रीज वाले कपड़े एकदम जा-झाड़ के टाइप पहनकर, बाल संवारकर तैयार...

Writers, Artists and Filmmakers have been returning their national awards in lieu of growing religious intolerance in the country. There may be controversy regarding their decision or what more good  possible ways of protest could have been but the reiterated backfire on writers for their selective approach calling it as the "manufactured" rebellion or "politics by other means" seems to hold no reasonable substance after  response to a RTI plea by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on communal tensions. A RTI was filed in Ministry of Home Affairs by Rohin Kumar, Political Science student at University of Delhi seeking information on number of cases of communal tensions that  erupted in country in last one year till date. In its reply MHA, has provided the details of communal incidents occurred, state-wise, during 2014 & 2015 (up to May). The figures itself speaks louder than the political satires plus also backs the ongoing symbolic protest of returning awards. ...
